So i get my 7 back together. Go for a spin, when i get home i notice my clock isnt working. No clue what's wrong. How would i go about getting it to work again?
|
Prolly gonna have to re-solder(dont remember exactly where, I said **** it when mine went) or just get a new one(and **** that, too much cheddar). You could try yanking it out and check to see what solder joint broke and fix it.
Does everything else in the car light up? |
Yeah everything else lights up its just the clock. And it suddenly stopped working.
Another thing i noticed when i took my car out tonight the gauge lighting started flickering at one point. |
check fuses
did your car stop smoking? |
Yeah, i realized that it was just the condition outside. It was humid like a mofo and there was a bunch of fog out too.

Go yo www.idahorotarty.com There you will find how to resolder your clock. Go under tech.
|
Use dieletrical grease around your solder joints, that should help w/ the humid problem.
