:dontgetit:
i dont know if this is true, but my friend said his stock apex seal thickness is about .92 mm. somewhere around that number. he owns a 87 nonturbo, if you were to upgrade or replace your apex seals, what would be the recomended thickness and how much would it take from your wallet, ive heard of guys using 2mm but they say it costs quite an amount of mula. |
here u go.......Performance Mods: Which seals do u use?
|
.92mm is SMALL..are you sure on that number? Stock sevens have 2mm from the factory..I thought..correct me if I'm wrong...
|
i think your right, just wanted to get it straight, thanks for the insight

I use 3mm Carbon racing seals in my car, apparently thats the way to go with large port jobs such as JPORT's or Periphial Ports

The seals you are talking about are on the tips of the
rotors themselves, yes???? I have a 86 Non-Turbo, I am getting a rebuild with 3mm seals, will this increase performance at all? or just durability? Plus what is the correct procedure in changing oil in your car? (from the start) |
