the stock one is good https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png , if you gotta have one, get one that plumbs back into the intake, the ecu gets confused if you dont

you can always turn your stock one around to face the firewall...much louder https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

Its hard to find exact replacement kits though for stock mounted intercoolers on FCs....you can try ebay...sometimes somebody has one welded up that would work...

bad pic but you get the idea

it'd be easier to understand what's going on if that was all on the motor and not the work bench

btw it's the GReddy Type S w/ FC flange thingy type yea hehe

which causes you to run rich between shifts. but i like the blitz bov for the TIIs they fit perfect and no welding. they go for about 150 on ebay, but if you want a loud ass mofo get a turbosmart. they run about 250 or so and have to be welded but they are loud as ****. it will scare the hell out of people. they will think you have a really big turbo. lol.

nice setup blink, did you make that Tid?

Blink 03-28-2003 05:03 PM

I wish I knew if it was loud or not but I really haven't seen much boost since I've been breaking in a new motor https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

Revvin - yes & no. I went to an exhaust place and they bent me a 43 degree bend in 3" piping. Which then I cut down to fit. The silicon couplers are from XS 2.75" -> 3 (note i have an upgraded turbo so don't go order this size for a stock turbo) and 3" - 3". I haven't tested it out since I'm just putting the car back together now but it should work good total cost i'd say is.. 5 bucks for the pipe.. 28 bucks for the silicon couplers and then I had the hose nipples so that was a previous cost https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png
