How long do you think it will take me to do the AT -> MT conversion on the BEATER 86?

I do have air tools, but I don't think I'm that good. I do have to swap the pedal cluster

Is there a hole for the clutch master or do you have to make one? That could add another half hour

No the dash does not have to be pulled.
No rush, just want to get it done as quick as possible. I have other things to do this weekend |

6-7 hours i say here, that is what it took me to convert a 95 civic to 5 spd

Pulled car into shop at 7:30 1. Disconnected and Removed Battery 2. Pulled Trailing Coils 3.Drained Master Cylinder 4. Disconnected Brake lines 5. Disconnected steering Column at Top U-Joint 6. Removed Steering Column Trim 7.Disconnected plugs to horn, ignition, fuel pump relay etc. 8. Disconnected Brake pedal 9. Removed Master Cylinder and Brake Bo0ster 10. Removed Steering Column 11. Removed OLd pedal Cluster 12. Installed New Pedal Cluster 13. Installed Refurbed Clutch Master Cylinder Time: 1.5 hrs |

Got started at 11:00 AM 14. Installed SPORT Booster and Master Cylinder 15. Removed midpipe/Cats 16. Removed Driveshaft 17. Removed Flexplate bolts 18. Removed Transmission 19. Removed Flexplate 20. Removed Shifter 21. Dummy-Fit of 5 Speed to check Mount Placement 22. Removed mounts from PARTS-BITCH with the PLASMA Cutter |

23. Removed excess metal from mounts and cleaned up
24. Positioned and marked mount location 25. Removed Tranny 26. Welded Mounts in 27. Installed new pilot bearing and seal 28. Installed Flywheel and clutch 29. Installed new Throw-out bearing Wrestled with tranny 5 or 6 times trying to stab it in. Tranny jack adaptor from Harbor Freight BLOWS!!!!!. wiil attempt tranny stab again tonight. |
So what are we up to in total hours? Who's still in the running? And what is the payout worth?

30. Installed Tranny
31. Installed and wired Starter 32. Installed Driveshaft 33. Swapped Speedo Gears, hooked up Speedo Cable 34. Installed heat shields 35. Installed Exhaust 36. Rebuilt and installed Slave Cylinder 37. Installed Shifter assembly Monday: 1.5 hours Tuesday: 1.5 hours |
Its DONE!!!!!!
Runs Great Need to figure out how to get the shift light to work, replace shifter bushings and it will be 100% |
