I discovered that any turbo charged vehicle can have an Anti-lag system (misfiring-ish). I have a few questions regarding that subject, like first, How does it work? Are there kits you can buy for it? Will it even work on a Turbo II, or would taking a ten pound sledge to the turbo be more healthy than the Anti-lag system?

Any help on it would be appreciated, thanks.

they bacially dump fuel, retard the timing a lot and add an air valve to dump air before the turbo, so that they can move the cumbustion from the engine to the turbo/exhaust manifold

it will fry your turbo...

And tear the hell out of your exhaust manifold.

just get a properly sized turbo, a good bov, and forget about that minimal lag you have.

But it looked cool on Initial D!!!!!

Okay, here's what I've got for you on anti-lag systems:

The idea behind them is to keep your turbo spooled, so the ALS will detect times of low pressure (such as taking your foot off the gas) and directly injects fuel into your exhaust system then detonates it. This builds up the exhaust pressure and helps keep your turbo spooling. Also this creates a "popping" noise from the fuel detonation. Unfortunately, this is murder for your exhaust and turbo. From what I've seen, you'll probably need to rebuild your exhaust system every 500-1000km. Scary stuff, but if you've got the money and the need, it can be a handy instrument.
