Ok if you follow the 2 primary intake runners down from the dynamic chamber before it curves there is like a little valve looking thing that has something like a big vacume hose nipple on it what is this?

RX7 13B 4 UR AZZ 08-07-2003 11:49 PM

that must be the sub zero starting fluid thing in the other topic. I will take it of and JB weld the whole.

I think that's the purge valve or the intake air temp sensor.. are you talking about driver's side near BAC or further down toward pass side?

FCmaniac 08-07-2003 11:51 PM

haha, your description was better than mine.. the valve thing with the big vacuum nipple https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

to pass side I am trying to find where it went connected to. but if it is not neccesary im removing it.

RX7 13B 4 UR AZZ 08-07-2003 11:54 PM

hey it is what it looks like. all the other vacume nipples are small i guess the one you are talking about is huge and the one im talking about is a medium nipple LOL ! ! !

RX7 13B 4 UR AZZ 08-08-2003 12:09 AM

any idea fc maniac?

FCmaniac 08-08-2003 12:13 AM

I thought you figured it out already.. the sub zero injector thing, right? What I'm talking about is on near the LIM end and sits on a plate sort of in the middle.. has a J bend nipple coming out

RX7 13B 4 UR AZZ 08-08-2003 12:14 AM

Yup its gone LOL

MazdaEnthused 08-08-2003 01:30 AM

sweet one of these dayz i'll do the same with the sub zero starting fluid tank

ioTus 08-08-2003 01:00 PM

i just cut my hose off and left it open...

RX7 13B 4 UR AZZ 08-08-2003 10:24 PM

no idel leak to be had from leaving that nipple off huh?

FCmaniac 08-09-2003 01:58 AM

I'd think so since it goes directly into the intake man.. You might as well cap it if you have a cap.. or remove it and JB it.

One of my spare S4 intake mans actually has no sub zero location.. there must have been a model that did not have that from the factory.
