I've seen in several pictures where someone has attached a cable to their alternator directly from the battery. In stock form my alt. cable comes from the main fuse, then to the battery. Which is best?

the later cars just double up the wiring, but it still uses the fuse

good to know. I might have to modify a new fuse thingy, mine's all cracked to hell, and kinda bends in half.

I had some leftover 4 awg wire from doing battery cables, and I used that. The cable is so thick that it had trouble fitting, and when I bolted the fuse block down it cracked at the middle. All the fuses are held in place, so it works for now.
