I have an 87 Turbo II, I have a Bonez street competition intake and an Apex'i N1 exhaust with 3" downpipe and exhuast, I also removed the stock fan and installed an electric one that is a little bigger. Is there anyhting i can take off the motor to make it go faster?? (Belt to Air Pump??)
What should my car run the way it sits? |

your car should run low 14's . i would get a boost gauge and go with a manual boost controller like this http://www.boostvalve.com

What's the factory boost limit on an S4 TII? Since I am only hitting 6 psi right now, I might want to bump mine up a little. I don't want to put my FCD back on, though...I like having my timing adjust for boost.

How much boost can i run on factory turbo?

my car has the mods it needs to run high boost on a small turbo...... just waiting to get turborotor's turbo and swap them. i might be swapping back to the stock radiator. the car runs to hot with the griffin with no shroud. so my griffin might be for sale soon https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png |
On a related note... what is the full scale reading on the stock boost gauge in PSI? I think the factory gauge reads mm of mercury? I notice my gauge gets pretty much all the way up when I dog it. I was wondering where it'll end up when I free up my exhaust.

It's actually 7.7 PSI at 32 degrees F. http://www.megaconverter.com/Mega2/index.html is a good site for stuff like that. |
