after i take out the airpump - ive seen some people put on filter breathers like little PCV breathers ---- do i do that? or what?

and if i do -- 9mm or 12mm

if you are going to remove the airpump you might as well remove the acv as well, unless the car is an na and you still want to use the six ports, and block it off but if you dont want to do that then put a breather filter on the hose that goes to the acv.

Well if you have an N/a you only need to keep the air pump if you have an S5 car. If you have an S4 you can take it off.

gazellis 07-28-2003 09:19 AM

On an S4, don't you need the air pump to pass emissions?

1987rx7guy 07-28-2003 09:23 AM

whats emmissions?

gazellis 07-28-2003 09:25 AM

You are joking right? I don't see a smiley face or anything so maybe not.

Sure I am joking. I don't give a rats ass about emmissions. I have a full uncollected catless exhaust. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png
