wutz up peeps, i have a guestion now what does taking the air pump do and how do u take it off, and were is it located?? thanx

the air pump pumps air into the catalytic converter so the unburned fuel burns..... you can only get rid of it if you have a midpipe

Thats not true. I took mine off and made a small block off plate for the air inlet on the cat. Mixed up some JB weld and stuck it on with the 2 bolts. Its been about 15K miles and it doesn't leak.
