for 13 bucks u cant go wrong for a "CHROME" filter.

UniqueTII 01-09-2003 04:10 PM

I like that...I got a red one for my car to match the plug wires and vacuum lines, but chrome was next on the list.

Turbo II 01-09-2003 04:11 PM

i like the cone filters actually

j9fd3s 01-09-2003 04:25 PM

the hks filter adaptor is a better peice, but hey for $16 you cant go wrong

mike

Rob x-7 01-09-2003 04:31 PM

at home depot.

yeah, you're basically just buying that adapter piece when you get the hks.

87RX7NA 01-09-2003 04:47 PM

I bought that exact same thing on e-bay last year, probably same guy too. Cone isn't going to get you more than a couple HP, but it sure does clean up the engine bay. I say go for it.

Turbo II 01-09-2003 05:17 PM

CHROME RULES

rotary>piston 01-09-2003 05:55 PM

yeah, a couple hp. I bet I gained more speed from the weight loss than the actual filter. It is nice without that big air box and stuff though.

Fastrotaries 01-09-2003 08:25 PM

for the price, not bad.

87RX7NA 01-09-2003 11:11 PM

Yeah...so, uhh....why haven't you bought it yet?

Baldy 01-10-2003 12:46 PM

I was gonna buy one after reading these responses...think that square hole in the adapter could be widened to the circle? I have a dremel that has yet to be used.....

and would this be much different than paying the extra for a k&n?

UniqueTII 01-10-2003 12:48 PM

It looks like that would work...just don't get too crazy.

Baldy 01-10-2003 12:56 PM

ok, just bought it...just for the hell of it....didn't realize shipping was $12, making it $25, until after I clicked "buy it now," but what the hell

UniqueTII 01-10-2003 12:58 PM

Damn...that's kind of a ripoff.

j9fd3s 01-10-2003 01:19 PM

its still not too bad

mike

87RX7NA 01-10-2003 01:19 PM

25 isn't too bad. Mostly what you're paying for is that adapter. You can get those filters at Autozone's now.

SilverTurbo 01-10-2003 01:21 PM

looks like a good deal..

Turbo II 01-10-2003 01:21 PM

u can buy jdm taillights at autozone too

UniqueTII 01-10-2003 01:55 PM

Well, the shipping cost itself is a rip off. The total cost is still good...I paid $20 for just my filter.

87RX7NA 01-10-2003 04:30 PM

Yeah, shipping was high. What kind of filter did you get, 3A? Those things are so damn cheap. Seems to work wonderfully for the price though.

1Revvin7 01-10-2003 04:44 PM

Thats how they always get you,on the shipping.
