Okay, so I've read over all the FAQ's I can find about ACV removal, and I still have a question. What do I need to do with the vacuum line that runs from the pressure sensor (where I hooked up my FCD a while back) to the ACV? I haven't seen any references to this particular line. Can some of you rotorheads help me out? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

just "T" the line that goes from the UIM to the bypass valve.

Yep, run a "T" and your good to go...

"Bypass valve"

That's the one that connects the pressure side of the turbo to the TID? Isn't that what most people would call a BOV?

Yup! Just "T" the small vac line that runs to it.

Cool. Thanks!

Now if Banzai's two-groove alternator pulley would show up, I'd be ready to race.

Update: Got my nifty two-groove Banzai pulley on and everything back together. Problem is, the boost gauge is now reading ZERO. It does not move. I checked for leaks, etc., but found none.

To me it makes no sense to hook up the pressure sensor to the same line that controls the bypass valve. The pressure sensor would be expected to constantly monitor manifold vacuum/pressure, whereas the bypass valve would get a signal only on a high vacuum condition (throttle closed). Please reconsider your advice or tell me where I'm wrong. I think one of us is on crack, and I don't think it's me! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png
