I just noticed today while i was checking my oil this morning (while car was idleing to warm up)

That my 5th and 6th port acctuators make a click noise... and i can acctually see them moving (vibrating) in conjuntion with the click. If i put my finger on the top of the acctuators (where the Valve that goes in, is) i can feel my finger vibrating along with the click noise. The noise and click is definatly coming from the actuators, but what could it be? Possible sign that they dont work?

THis really bothers me. My driving is the same. but at idle they click. Normal?

Bump...

Does anyone know what would cause my port actuators to click and rattle?

First off, you shouldn't be checking your oil while the car is running. You should wait untill the car has cooled down and is on a level surface.

The clicking is no big deal. I belive it is just from the exhaust pulses making them move slightly. It does the same thing on my car.

well, i normally check the oil right before i start it... but i was half asleep when i did it. and i accidently started it, i drive 50 miles to work each day so i always check the coolant, brake, and clutch fluid...

And i did not want to disturb the car or flood her out by shutting her off just after i started her... Needless to say : It had oil...

So what your saying is it's the rotors as they pass the Sleeve/port? Kinda like a semi when it passes on the side of the road?? Moves you by wind no by touch... humm.. THats interesting.

THanks guys. Markus

Try greasing them up. Maby there hitting the point when they start to stick. Happens all the time.
