I am looking for good quality stainless steel headers for my fc turbo 2. I want a t3/t4 flange with a external wastegate. where can i get one for a decent price with great quality? thanks for the info.

I think the part you are describing is called a "turbo manifold". HKS used to make a cast log manifold for FC, but I don't know if it's still available. There are some welded stainless ones available on ebay, but the quality is fair to middling, near as I can tell. There's some good ones coming from a few custom fabricators, but they're not cheap.

I've heard that the stock Hitachi turbo will flow as much as a T3. I'd shoot for a full T4, but I don't know your goals for the car.

the quest for mo powa will cost you if you want things done right. don't be affraid to spend a little, you fair well at the end of the day. Turboblown does do nice work & then again you get what you pay for. if you want some thing smaller like a t3 setup why not just get a BNR modified stock turbo and keep the stock mani. if cost is the problem that would be a great solution

If you want to go aftermarket manifold your stock turbo will not mate up with any t3/t4 flange. Stock S4 and S5 turbos have propriety flanges which means they only work with their stock manifold counterpart.

If you are going a new manifold, your going to have to purchase a corresponding turbo to go with it. If its a bigger turbo your going to have to also install supporting modifications to accept the turbo. such as downpipe, wastegate, FCD, injectors, fuel computer, bov, and some gauges to monitor and to tune them.

If you don't know what your doing you might need to do some research first before you start tampering with anything. There's tons of information in FAQs and the search button is your friend.

Heres a link to BNR, its a low cost alternative to turbo mods. http://www.bnrturbos.com/2ndGen.htm

i used to have the HKS cast mani wich i loved and the part was flawless but when i went to my gt45 turbo i could no longer use that mani so i sold it. the HKS cast T4 manifold is around $300 and is still avalible and its for an exturnal waist gate only. i do not know if the internal mani is still avalible. i would stay away from a t3 turbo of any kind as a rota will over spool a t3 in a hurry . go t4 of some sort.

I live by the thinking that one of the first rules when modding your car is to take your original budget- and triple it.
