I finally got around to installing my aeromotive fuel pressure regulator. I decided to stick to running my injectors in series, rather than parallel mainly because of simplicity. Luckily, my secondary rail was tapped for an S4 FPR, so removing the stock FPR and installing a -6 adapter was cake.

I first found a good place to mount the FPR, then I ran the long return line and then made up the short line for the secondary rail. It came out really clean. The black fittings with the stainless steel looks super sharp.

so prior to this you were running a stock S4T2 FPR?

I am still undecided as to what direction to go.

I have new KG rails or to use stock modified rails

Rob, If you run the KG rails, you will either have to install the stock PD or an aftermarket PD (ie MArren)

depending on if you plan to race your car on a racetrack, and depending on how strict your track is, you wont pass tech inspection. cant mount the FPR on the firewall, in fact i think it needs to be a specific distance from the firewall.

just a tidbit of info in case you plan on being at a strict track with inspections anytime soon.

Bah, this car wont see a racetrack. Maybe a grudge night or two, but nothing major.

Interesting though, I know 2 people that mounted the FPR in the same spot, and they track their cars heavily. I guess it just depends on how strict the track inspection.

Thanks man. time to get the order in to Summit!

Look'n good.

And it is true that some track spec guys won't pass an FPR on the firwall...most 4cyl/6cyl guys mount in near the strut towers, but since the rotary doesn't sit anywhere near that...you have to make a bracket to mount it...I haven't figured out where mine is going yet either!

I'm trying to install my FPR on my s4 TII, but I'm not sure where to put the third (vacuum?) hose. I've got the fuel lines hooked up, and I'd imagine the third hose would go to the same vacuum line as the stock FPR..... only one problem. This was an engine swap and some of the vacuum lines were disconnected when i got the engine...

So my question is: Where is the line located for the third hose?

Feel free to act talk like i'm stupid https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...R#>/tongue.gif bit of a noob here. But any help would be greatly appreciated.
