The add coolant light comes on and the obnoxious buzzer with it... my coolant is full and theres no reason for that, i dont even wanna sit in my car its that loud and annoying. Please any help or input would be great, thanks in advance

Make sure you bleed all the air out. I'm not sure about the S5, but I know in my S4 I can fill it until it overflows, but if I don't loosen the bleed screw on top of the radiator while filling, it'll still buzz at me.

So bleed the air out through the radiator? Wheres the screw or do you just mean the cap?

I just ran outside to look and started it up again its buzzing me =| ... I actually looked at the radiator and theres what looks like a bolt with a wire sticking out which looks like its ready to fall off does that need to be fixed or rewiired? the wire is still attached but its compromised the outter plastic coat is broke and the wire itself is mostly attached but is wore and parts are broken.

Just went back out and it stops after about 5 minutes as usual but i really dont want to deal with this everytime start my car.

like he said bleed all the air out I had this happen to me b4 also.



that wire on top the radiator is the coolant sensor that may be faulty if you describe worn and parts broken but bleed the air out first b4 you do that. if it bugs you so much in the mean time you can just disconnect that wire and save a headache. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.gif

How do i bleed it? I removed the cap for a bit, and nothing.

In case it isn't clear, do not do that.



On the S4, there's a plastic screw thing, maybe 1/2" across, with a phillips slot in it, near where the rubber hose connects to the top of the radiator. I unscrew that, fill through the rad cap spot until I see fluid come out the bleed hole, screw the plug back in, and keep filling.



But like I said, I'm not sure about S5 (I have an S5 rad at home, if you don't get an answer by tonight I'll check it out).

mines an s4 but i havent even filled it lately the problem just started out of no where.

Clean the contacts for the sensor too. Sometimes they get corroded.
