For those that have done this, does anybody have suggestions (nothing came with the plates I bought so I'm shooting blind here, and the descriptions I found in the FAQ didn't really give a detailed idea of how to handle this...) of what to do with the ACV blockoff? I've got the ACV off, and the air pump is gone, but of the 3 vacuums running into/out of the ACV unit, I understand that the ones controlling the vacuum solenoids can be put to rest and the solenoids removed or at least blocked off, but where did y'all source your vacuum for the pressure sensor/switch? Now that the bung is gone, I'm a bit in the dark about what to use as the source for this manifold pressure line... Any help is much appreciated, I gotta get this sucker running before my condo committee tows it away https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub..._DIR#>/sad.png Much thanks Jason |
block off the 3 metal pipes that went to the ACV.
bolt the plate on with a gasket or silicon crap. |
there is another nipple under the BAC for the pressure sensor. if you have a turbo. you'll need a "T" so you can put both the BOV and sensor off the one nipple.

OK, so nothing proprietary, just plunder the bov line...makes sense, thanks!
