I was looking thru the diagrams of my engine and I'm pulling the emissions off it right now.I was wondering if I can pull and block off the Air Bypass Solenoid Valve(ABSV) and Air Speed Valve(ASV)?Also I know that I have to run the vaccum for the fuel rails off the LIM but Do I tee those lines?Do I also Tee the main fuel together and the returns together?

Thanks

Luis

What I mean on the fuel lines in case you wondering about the wording of that part is I mean I would tee the fuel together then run it to the main line then do that to the return and run it to the return line.

Thanks

Luis

I'm gonna pull them out here in the next few days if I don't hear anything about them

you can pull both of those solenoid valve if you arent running ac, if you are running ac then you want to leave the valve in the rear of the intake (air bypass?). you confused me with your fuel line question.

I read that diagram wrong I have the one main and one return.Sorry about that.I want to pull as much as humanly possible off the engine that isn't needed to run it with for a easier install when I get a car to drop it in.I think the TB mod is next on the list after I figure what other valves can come off.

Racer X 03-02-2003 12:03 AM

Seeing as I will do the TB mod to it.Can't I just dissable the BACV and run the hose to the rear of the engine?I see a coolant nipple on the rear of the UIM right above the one for the engine do I run a tee to both of those nipples then run a hose from the tee to the water pump?Seeing as this will be a summer only car can I pull the AWS off too?

Thanks again guys. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683894.gif

Luis

if you are going to have ac, the air supply valve is the only one you need to keep

Who needs AC when you have a sunroof? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/happy.png https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif
