Well either my clutch is either stuck to my flywheel or my tranny is jacked. It stock "in gear" I know for a fact the shifter is in neutral and even if the clutch is depressed nothing its still engaged. And yes the clutch pedal has plenty of pressure. I bought the tranny used and the guy said he did not put it in so he didn't know if it worked. So he gave it to me for $125. Anyhow I don't want to order the $350 worth of parts to finish my car if the tranny is shot which will run atleast another $500, I have a hookup at a tranny shop, so it might be less. But I owe money to my CC and a 2 friends, so i would rather clear up all my dept if i can't finish my car anyhow..... but graduation is within a month I should get plenty of cash for toys https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

So you can't put it into gear? OR you put in gear but nothing happens?

No he's saying the tranny is stuck in gear, but the shifter is loose in neutral. Which means there's a problem somewhere within the tranny its self and the flywheel.

Good Luck! and Happy Graduation!

hahah that was your birfday present.

Anyhow 3 hours later the tranny is down. Should have only took me an hour put the damn driveshaft was stuck... with the shifter in nuetral, should the input shaft on the tranny spin if i spin the driveshaft? Because it does, I don't think thats right. Is there anything i can have done when its rebuilt to beefen it up?

i believe the input shaft should spin if you spin the driveshaft.

im thinking maybe it was your shift linkage itself and not the trans that was shot.

it will spin in neutral, but you should be able to stop it.
