Ive got a 91 RX7 that i am having problems with it wanting to spit and sputter at times and start loss of power. But if i pull off and turn the car off and crank it back up it seems nothin ever happened?? I am starting to think that it is the coil packs does anyone have any suggestions of what my problem might be and a answer to fix it or help it??

GROUNDS GROUNDS GROUNDS

FC's are notorious for loose grounds check the ECU ground behind the Intake manifold right by the tranny ball housing.

and check the main engine ground for proper contact to chassis.

Its always something stupid if its not running right most of the time

Where is the ground connection located at on the tranny and the main ground connect for the ECU..

RicerJ 06-11-2011 05:39 AM

the ecu one is located behind the intake manifold if you read post above mine (no trying to sound like an ass) if it the one i think he is talking about it should be to the firewall to somewhere i havent traced it out there should be a ground around the driverside of the trans by the starter again havent traced hell follow the battery ground too i cant say where else i have seen these grounds at but thats all i can remember seeing on my S4
