How reliable are the 91 FC's ? I've only owned tt FD's. would an FC be good as a daily driver? or are they as particular as the FD's ?

i've had my 91 n/a for almost 4 years now...been more reliable than a civic https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

my 87 gxl was very good to me, and i beat the **** out of it. Took it on a few out of state road trips with no problems other than smokey startups as my oil seals got bad.

why don't you tell everyone what happened to your 626

Rotaries are as reliable as any motor gets when hey are in NA form.Plus you can always build it up with a nice big street port if your concerned about reliability. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png Rotaries + Turbo's = https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...O_DIR#>/11.gif

Gee thanks Russell https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/moon.gif https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png ... yeah so um... I was driving and a ******* 100 year oak tree fell on my daily driver ( 97 626 ) https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...O_DIR#>/11.gif I'm looking for an alternate mode of transportation... I'm thinking of an SUV or Truck for functionality ... seeing as how I had to get someone to tow my FD to rotor sports racing. I've got a few leads on some second gens. but I really dont need another 2 seater car.

BTW... I'm getting new turbo's and a street port put on the FD as we speak. I anticipate a long and expensive journey to greatness.

Getting an NA FC is not a bad investment. I've had my 86NA for 5yrs now and it's never brokeing down on me. Unlike my 3rd gen and 87T2

i would get a truck........

yeah, it'll suck driving it around, but oh so usefull

rx7trix 11-01-2002 08:48 AM

Yeah I need a truck to haul my FD when it breaks https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

I need a truck too, so I can haul my cars to the track.
