I have the 89' gtus and i'm thinking about honestly putting in a turbo II motor and transmission in it.. but a cheaper route is this motor my friend has that is a 88' Na motor. Will that fit?

thanks..

There is alot of difference in th motor. First off its a series 4 motor , then you have the 88 is mechanical oil injection pump, the impedence on the injectors are different. you'll need the ecu and I also believe your gonna need the afm. But im not too sure about that! Hope this helps. By the way nice car https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

Well hmm... differences differences...grrr...

I'm very tempted to grab a Tii motor and transmission.

someone said it'd cost 2300 dollars or so... which sux. and then i have someone that says that i should be able to get one with the transmission for 1200

However I drove the car again today...wierd. Makes the knocking noise from hell...smokes like clouds...drives okay. (didn't go very far)

Sooooo...... I didn't try the ATF trick because I think there is more to it than that... I should have the car back to my town wed.

(it is still parked in another city) I have recieved many compliments about the car and i appreciate it. I'll be taking a few more pictures when I get it back here. I've set the car on security level 5 when i parked it. i've heard many people have been trying to look inside and i am getting worried by the hour while it's there.. so time for me to grab it.... lol

It stands out waaay too much where it's at.
