thats weird, maybe fuel pump doesnt stay running when you let go of the key?

ok i found the problem which was the fuel cutoff switch the previous owner installed. for some reason he taped the switch into the fuel relay wiring harness underneath the dash. once i removed and repaired the wires the car started and never shutoff!!! also that same day i removed the engine and rebuilt it lucky enough eveything was reusable since the rear rotor had excessive carbon in the seals which the atf trick which i had done a few weeks prior did not cure, now i just have to reinstall the shortblock and reconnect the harnesses and all that good stuff!!!
