Well, after a year and a half I finally got my 87 TII swap running and took it out for a test drive. Iwont really hold an idle under 1500 rpms and I have to keep my foot in the throttle ever so slightly to keep it running (I think that this problem is from slack in the throttle cable though). The problem that I encountered when driving it on the road was that the car was fine to 3500, hicup'd and boosted all the way to 1 Bar or 14.7 psi. I backed off the throttle and the charge pipe blew off the throttle body. This tells me (from my limited experience) that the waste gate is fully closed off and not diverting exhaust away from the turbo fins at lower rpms (this could also be why it wont hold an idle at low rpms). Then when I let off the throttle after the boost, the charge pipe blew off which tells me that the blow off valve is not working properly either.

Some background on the car is that it is a 87 TII J-Spec swap into an 87 N/A. I have gone with a front mount intercooler setup, a manual boost controller, GReddy type-S blow off valve, Racing Beat FCD and removed the rats nest. The way that I routed the manual boost controller was the nipple on the compressor side of the turbo to the boost controller (opened up all the way so that it would run stock setting), then from the boost controller down to the waste gate. The blow off valve is connected on the drivers side about 8 to 10 inches away from the throttle body. The larger of the two vacuum nipples on the blow off valve was connected to one of the open vacuum nipples on the fire wall side of the throttle body right after the black plate, on the upper intake manifold.

This is creating some serious boost, but I want to get it back to stock settings before I turn up the boost and fuel. Any help or insight to my situation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
