you got to bleed the brakes. Probably all around.

when you engage the parking brake, can your friend still turn the rear tires?

if so, i'm gonna have to say your rear calipers are siezed.

Dakmis 11-18-2003 09:34 AM

the parking breaks stop the rear tires

Bleed them again.

yep, if the parking brake works theres probably air in the hydraulic system for the rears (assuming the fronts work great).

was there any work done recently on the car? new master cylinder perhaps? if you are bleeding brakes make sure you do them in the proper order.

and in case you don't know the order:

passenger rear

driver rear

passenger front

driver front
