ok i want to keep my 5th and 6th ports working. ive looked in FAQ's already and its not in-depth enough to cover this. i have 3'' megan racing exhuast. well, part of it. from manifold to about where the y-pipe goes is 2 inches then blends into 3 inch all the way out with a fart can. so heres what i want to do. im getting a silencer or resonator welded in, in the 2 inch area of my exhuast and i want to keep my 5th and 6th ports working so im going to get the exhuast guy to drill a hole in the resonator and weld a bung in or weld on a small piping (like stock from air pupm mass to catalytic converter)... now when i do this: from that "bung" or piping from the resonator where do i hook the other end up to? as in what vaccuum line or whatever controls the port vavles operation? is it that litle one right beside the port valve closest to the back of the engine? or is it the big rubber tube (not really big, just bigger) that comes out from somewhere behind the intake (comes out between intake and firewall). i have both of these plugged off becuase i have no air pump or air control valve. and no im not going to wire them open. thanks...keep in mind the car is an s4 n/a
