'86 Hard to start
Here's the situation. Sunday I changed the oil and cleaned the air filter. No big deal, all routine. Monday morning however, I go to start my car, it starts then promptly dies again. I try starting it several times before it finally stays running. Once it's running however, during idle, during acceleration, and just running down the road, it purrs like nothing is wrong.
Now, anytime I let it sit for a couple hours I have this fight. Has anybody else out there run into this, if so, what was the cause. If not, any ideas out there what could be causing this? |
Re: '86 Hard to start
poorly seating/fouled fuel injectors; dripping fuel in the chamber washing down the housings causing low compression. common on high milage engines
