All 86-91 NA's and 84-85 GSL SE's have 6 port motors

6 intake ports: 2 primaries, 2 secondaries, and the 2 that are opened by the actuators.

So which vehicles came with the 4-ports? I believe I saw a dual carb setup for a 4-port once, that would be kinda cool.

All of the 1st gen. motors, except for the GSL-SE's are 4 ports. TII's are the only 4 port 2nd gens.

I see, thanks. The ad said the dual carb setup was for 4-port 13B's only, so it would only work with a TII block. I think I would just keep the turbo eh.

Speaking of those stupid actuator's can someone find or take a pic of how you wire them open? Or tell me how to take the sleeves out, w/o hurting my baby?? ??? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

To get the sleeves out, you need to remove the intake manifolds, the rod that comes off the actuator goes into the intake port, so you'll need to slide that out too. Take a pair of pliers and pull the sleeves out. I'd get more into it, but I can't really remember, lol...its been a while since I worked on the NAs. To wire them open, just take and tie the rod back...its a quick solution, not a permanent one..its best to have them electronically controlled or secure them the best you can when you tie them....I'll try to go back and look at some pics I took w/ a reg camera of taking my NA apart and see if it doesn't jog my memory better...
