What many folks do is "wire them open." Turn them to the open position, and tie them in place with a piece of wire or a plastic zip-tie. I put silicone sealant in the holes, used plastic zip-ties, and have the pineapple racing inserts. I only did this because mine weren't actuating properly.

i left the acuators on, as the didnt work anyways. i then took apart the linkages for the ports a little, and i could just get the actuator arm over the rod to hold them in the open position.

i wouldnt recommend it, as the drastic difference at low rpms affected daily driving greatly.

but i drive at the track, so there was an equally drastic difference up top and that was worth it. i can only imagine what a working 6port system feels like.

it just pulls nicely from idle to redline, if you can feel it working its sticking

bummer then. mine must be sticking because i can feel it kick in after a certain rpm but i have noticed that the rpm keeps getting higher as to when it kicks in. however im done doing work on it untill im out of school for break and summer so it just has to be that way for a while

once it is all sealed up will it affect the idle or should it still be the same with the ports wired open??
