alright, i was playing with my rx7 today, and i noticed my 5th/6th port actuators weren't working, anyways I did some research, and found out why, its because the cats were removed and a straight was put in its place, anyways I have heard some rumors floating around about being able to use a lumbar support seat pump, or running them off of the air pump, does anyone have any good directions for doing so, all of them I have found have been vague and had no pics (at least that worked), because I would like to run them off of the air pump, or could I have someone weld a pipe onto the straight pipe and run it up to where it used to connect, or will that not work because of not enough back pressure,

Any help would be greatly appresiated:

Tom

if you still have the air pump, that's the simplest i think. you just need to tap a fitting in i put mine between the acv and the vent to the bumper. it helps to have a bleeder valve on it, so you can adjust when it opens.

you could also place it between the air pump and acv, up to you.

I saw a article that was talking about using solenoids, and a rpm, I am planning on making a bracket, and using a tubular solenoid (a pull type one), I was wondering if someone could help me pick one out that will, as I don't really understand half the crap they are talking about, Here's a site I found with some that would work:

http://www.ledex.com...-solenoids.html

I want something similar to the attached picture, and if anyone knows of a good place to get one/which one I could use, please Let Me Know

Heres one I was thinking would work, but i dont understand the voltgage/duty chart, also if it can pull hard enough it has, heres the link to the info pdf on it, if someone could take a look and tell me if it will work, i would appreciate it http://www.ledex.com...75x1.5_Pull.pdf

If I can get the system working, i will do a right up on it

I forgot to add before, I'm going to remove the air pump, and all that garbage, and that's why i want to use the solenoids
