How much is the average mint condition FC?

it's in really good condition and he just painted it and got all the dings out.

Just curious..

3500 isnt that bad for a really mint one with new paint and no dents with a good interior that isnt missing any parts . What series or year the car is plays a role as well. For a 87 its on the high side, for a 89-91 its a good buy.

People do get them cheaper, but not with new ( good quality ) paint and compleate interiors.

Condition of the tires, brakes, exaust, stereo all factor in as well. Condition of the engine, tranny, etc.... its hard to say.

i bought my GXL with clean interior, engine and exterior for $2000. I bought my 88 SE for $1,200 but it was really banged up like dents and what not. The engine burns some oil and the interior needs help. But i think $3000 for a real clean one aint bad. My car retails for $3,400. But im not selling mines. I love her... My boy was selling a 10th Anniversary for like $4000. I thought that was expensive till i started looking around and that was cheap. Considering his car was as clean as mines , except for a lil rust patch on the side of his car and the door handle not werking. My car works fine, i have all the components that came stock (when i bought it heheee)..The eingine is in beautiful condition . My car only has 78,000 miles on it. I got a carfax report and its true. one person owned it didnt drive it after her hubby died then sold it to a car dealership he sold it to the guy i bought it from who had it for a year only. so my baby is clean all the way around > EXCEPT FORONE THING . Automatic lol. (changing in mid april) The way im going to spend my spring vacation

good luck

I purchased my FC (86) Gxl for $1100

It had a couple of things wrong with it, not to mention 173,240 on the Odom. (yes i remember exactly)

It needed a paint job, tires, shifter bushings. hell a whole slew of things.. But after all that, getting everything done makes me feel real good about my first car. (had it for 2 years now)

Just recently bought a motor ($300) and rebuilt it ($1900)

I couldnt rebuily my original motor it was tired and had right around 208,000 miles

Just goes to show you rotarys are worth it. (When i bought her, she didnt run)

Took an oil change, new plugs, and a little time to get her fired up...

Depends where you live and what model.

Here an 89-91 TurboII in MINT condition can go from 8k and up.

of course you can get an 86 base for $300 at the same time, but who wants one of those?
