What all would be needed to swap a FD motor into my N/A FC? I have a chance to pick up a good running low mile motor, complete with computer and transmission and a few other odds and ends.

What all would I need? How difficult would the swap be? Could I use my stock coils?

I'm going to fab up a FMIC if I do it, and remove all of the un-needed parts... No emmissions inspection in my state https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

I would use the following engine mounts:

It seems that droping the engine is a bolt in matter, on the other hand I believe you will need a T2 tranny. IMHO the easiest way would be to use a stand alone ECU, but if you have all of the FD engine wire harness, ecu, sensors, etc; you might want to go that route.

Dang, wish they would have had something like that for the 1st gen. Would have made my swap a lot easier.

I haven't got to check it out yet, but he says that the harness is complete and uncut, the ecu is there, all of the long block stuff is still there...

He took the motor out to do a ls1 swap, and then the body of the car got flooded... The motor was stored somewhere else... so he has no use for it...

The harness and ECU will be a waste of your time. Get a stand alone and enjoy. Also need to convert hte TT setup to non sequential.
