What does this do?

You add oil in with your fuel, instead of using the oil metering pump.

The benefits of using 2-stroke oil instead of motor oil in rotary engines are, first to have a better and more efficient lubrication, and no carbon build up.
We can even buy a metering pump adapter that allows to feed the metering pump using a small 2-stroke oil tank instead of oil from engine pan. It's a $145. |
