I have a 1987 Turbo II that I've been tying to get ready to swap into my NA chassis. While testing it, I've been getting intermittent throttle response. Some days the trottle response is there and the car runs great. Other times I step into the gas and it acts like I'm not doing anything. I've checked all vacuum lines on/around the turbo (hopefully I'm not missing something stupid on this), checked spark plugs, wires, coil packs, fuel pump and pressure. MAF is hooked up and working properly. I've also cleaned the throttle position sensor (but have not replaced it). Basically, it's running consistently as far as it cold starts every time without a problem... it just acts like I'm not giving it gas sometimes when the pedal is floored. Any thoughts?

i would have a look at the secondary throttle plates, the is a set on a t2 that seems to be there so they can get stuck shut

I think that the issue is a combo of the MAF and throttle position sensor going out (and probably some other shizen too). But... just did a compression check and the front rotor is at 120psi, back rotor is at 50psi...not good, so we're probably going to tear it out and do a rebuild. Thanks for the input though https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.gif

That f'ed back rotor pretty much trumps anything else thats wrong with it...
