I found a 1988 Turbo II for 150$ but it has a bad radiator, and it has a cracked exhausts manifold. Is it worth 150? How much is a turbo II motor?
|
$150, what a rip. where is this car again? :yum:
|
umm.. yes. you could resell so many parts each for that price LOL
or buy a new rad and manifold for a few hundred and get it running. |
i doubt those are the ONLY problems though...... my TII ONLY had a problem with the alternator belt. then i found wheel bearing was shot, brake rotors were ALL WARPED!!! etc.... just be wary!
|
$150 is a great deal, considering they might get more selling it to a junk yard. my brother got $200 for his jeep cherokee 4 cylinder with a blown engine and tranny. i dont know, for only $150 bucks, engine, transmission, diff, everything could be blown. this thing could have been driven into a lake, with the radiator and whatever broken below it went swimming with the fishes.
|
It doens't sound like a bad deal, If you dont' want it. let me know. I'll take it.

yea, well I seen it run, and it runs ok, well from the out side,.The Car is in Richmond CA, I dont think i will pick it up because the parents are saying I have too many cars here and to many crx parts liyin around, My grandmother said "You have three freakin crx trannies out there, and now you want to add and RX-7" So yea, I dont think i will be able to pick it up.
|
I'll buy it man! But the problem is that i'm all the way down here in Miami.
any ideas as to how much it'll be for transport? I really want it, and how is the car,to be exact. Thanks man! |

Umm, yeah, Three CRX's are WAAAAAY better than one turbo RX-7, Stick to the Hondas. :rice:
i think you forgot that part. any running rx-7 will beat 3 crx trannys. you kind of need the rest of the car for it to be worthwhile. even so, I wouldn't trade my TII for one CRX even if it had three CRX engines in it! the following is a visual representation of anyone's reaction to a $150 running TII for sell: :yum: |
Cost benefit
Is it worth your time and money to buy cheap now and pay much more later https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/dunno.gif |

Yeah man ,every once in awhile parts pop up in Ebay for rx7's. But visit any local rx7 shops if you can and ask around. And i'm sure there are alot of people in this forum that have extra parts somewhere; like Bonazitoyota. BTW. Why do you call yourself Bonaitoyota.
