No way.. I get to be the first to respond https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.gif
Looks really good so far.. that turbo is fairly close to the rad though, closer than I pictured it would be. Which turbo manifold are you using again? That thing should sound great when you get it fired up... |

What are you using for spark? They remind me of the LS1's packs.
|
the full spark system is an FD Ignitor, 1 MSD 6A, and (4) MSD Blaster SS Coils. all controlled by the wolf v4.

i like how you mounted the coils. VERY VERY nice

i like how you mounted the coils. VERY VERY nice thanks. I made up the metal plate theyre on out of some metal i had laying around, and the coils come with the vibration mounts so that worked out very nicely. The plate fit that spot perfectly so i was glad lol. The wires are Magnecor 10mm R100 wires, trimmed to fit for that setup with a 90deg double crimp connection w/ MSD boot on the coil side (since those coils have a different post then the stock coils). Each wire is roughly a foot long, and none of them come close to each other or anything else really. Trying to prevent any possible arcing or ignition related problems, I've learned so much on the forums and in my job its just a matter of applying the necessary things, plus i thought the coils looked cool there haha. kevin. |
Its badass. Thats All I have to say. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/bowdown.gif Nicely done.

just an observation: the fuel lines that go in to the in-line filter look a little low Yea none of those lines are bolted up yet, they'll huge the subframe rail just like the stock hardlines perfectly, got insulated clamps and everything, those are just sitting on top of a box that you see. kevin. |
Looks awesome man.
When I was 17 ( a loooong time ago) I had a gtu I had painted yello. For some reason bugs/knats/ect are really attracted to the color.. |
It's coming along nice man. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.gif Wish I could afford that front end lol.
|
look great, however I'd move that air filter off the turbo housing. Once that thing gets hot the filters going to melt and be sucked into your turbo messing up all your hard work.. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...O_DIR#>/11.gif
