CAS? I'm thinking 'cold air sensor ' but I may be wrong.. now I need a T2 S5 harness and ECU .. perfect, like that's not the hardest thing to find out there, is it.
how hard is it to replace the metal inserts in the rotor housing, the front housing on my RE is really really screwed.. I was thinking a TII housing and change the inserts or failing that , getting two FD housings.. |
CAS= Crank Angle Sensor. The T2 ECU likes the stocker and not the RE one.I remember someone on here doing this swap with a S5 T2 ECU and harness and said it will run on the RE CAS but runs better on the T2 one.I can't remember the username off the top of my head tho.

yep, one was loose.. I've never engountered this before so i've never really lookked at it too closely, my reasoning is since were working with an aluminum housing that is 'protected' by a steel sleeve, having it loose could possible melt or severly affect the housing. Since I have to get a new housing anyway, i was looking to pop in that sleeve OR remove both RE sleeves and pop in the TII sleeves. this is about the last thing I need to look at before i'm ready to do this..
