Hi
whats up everyone, I have an 87 t2 and my motor has great compresson and ive bin having all kinds of engine electrical problems with it. So instead of going haltech e6k i herd i could use a 12a turbo distributor on my s4 t2 motor. has anyone ever done this / is it doable how hard is it to do? and what parts will i need thanks. |
i assume your going to convert to carb?
|
If you no carb, it no work.
If you carb, it will work. |

a cheaper (but more work-intensive) alternative to reverting to a carb and dizzy would be to get a megasquirt kit. $200, build it yourself, and then you can control fuel and ignition, plus plenty of other stuff with it

hi
where can i find one of these megasquirt kits? what do they do are they bolt on or what?

That'll tell you all you need to know. As far as replacing the CAS with a distributor....yes BUT it'll freak out the ECU. |
ms looks like a lot of work, i just read through 20 pages and i think its a bit too complicated, but thats just me
