Walrbo fuel pump, 4x 550 cc cleaned injectors
@ 11.6 psi in 4th gear @ 5200rpms I hit 107.8 injector duty cycle. Using a fuel calculator I guess I have 270rwhp https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif using a .66 bsfc 15% drivetrain loss afr was 11.0 then just went lean as all hell and I let off. intake temps were high, 120-130 a WOT. So whats up with all the haters thinking you can't hit 300rwhp on the stock turbo? I know its not a dyno graph, but soon I will get one. |

107% duty cycle? How do you get over 100% duty cycle?
and at WOT your a/f was 11.0? You need to get that on a dyno and check get some graphs up https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png |
what's wrong with 11:1 ?
Looks like your getting the car sorted out. |
nothings wrong with it, i just want to see some dyno graphs of it https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png
|
I got the 107 from the e6k......
|
The injector is static at ~90%. Anything over that, and it just fails to close. 107% is possible because the engine needs the injector to be open that long to give the required fuel, but its physically impossible at the injector.
Ive seen 120%.....oops. |
Haltech E6K extrapolates duty cycle by comparing fuel injector ms versus RPM.
If you have glitches in the RPM, it's possible to have inaccurate duty cycle readings, like those over 100% like that. Recheck the datalogs, but check the injector MS instead of DC. Also, check the RPM's, as I bet you had a spike in there. -Ted |
you can set the haltech bars a lot higher in ms than is actually available at that rpm.
ive seen 130% before, oops |

I just plugged that into the calculator and it said 691.6 flywheel HP. That's not even close. |

Don't trust those calculators to give you HP. I once hit 75% duty cycle with
4 1600 cc injectors. I just plugged that into the calculator and it said 691.6 flywheel HP. That's not even close. |

Ah, I assumed you knew the limits of fuel injector pulsewidth versus RPM's. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

So whats the max hp anyone has seen on the stock fuel on the dyno?
My calcutions were off, @ 12psi I see 107% duty cycle.... |
