quick question, i cant seem to find reliable 0-60 mph times anywhere ese on the net, so i figure ill ask the people that know https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/boink.gif the conditions would be on regluar street tires or a warm weather day with a good driver, the car -- a series 4 and 5, with 5 speed tranny, second gen rx7, thanks for the info :bigthumg:
|
0-60
S4 and S5 official times around 6.5 - 6.6 seconds |
can someone tell me about the different series for the 2nd gen? s4, s5?
|
s1 = 79-80
s2 = 81-82 s3 = 83*-85 s4 = 86-88 s5 = 89-91 s6 = 93-95 s7 = 96-98 s8 = 99-02 *83 could go either way s2 or s3 mike |
S4 square tailights
S5 round tailights that is the ricer way to figure out the differences. S5 is way better everything is better except they have automatic seatbelts that SUCK :bigthumg: |
were there any body changes between the s6 and 7? cuz i swear they look different
|
thats with a professional drive and brand new though. Most people can't touch those times. my n/a did 0-62 in 7.1(G-tech) STOCK! bwhahah

My s5 TII ran 0-60 in 5.8 seconds (according to a gtech) and I ran a 14.5 my very first run at the track with stock everything and only having the car for 2 weeks.

thanks https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png I was also running on the stock shitty street tires. And i spun quite a bit through 1st. I thought i kept the time slip somewhere around here. But now i cant find it to check my 60' times :( :rant:
I cant wait untill this summer. By them i should have the gt3540 switch atleast started and i'll see what my times will be :bigok: |

It was rebuilt a few thousand miles ago by the hayes ( :( ) payed for by the previous owner. I will run the gt3540 on the stock engine untill it blows then rebuild it how i want it https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png No point in rebuilding it when its already running good.
