'88 vert OEM equipment?

Have rear splash guards, noticed a lot of the '88 verts I've seen do not have them. Were they factory/finish line options?
How about the 4 piston brakes? Were they on the verts or did they just get the better suspension to deal with the weight?

The rocker panel attached plastic things behind wheels, like mud flaps. They were big in the 80's.
