Hi guys,

Being the cautious consumer that I am, I want to see what you guys think about this '86 rx-7. The dude wants $2650 obo and here is the description:

the car is a 86 rx7 none turbo i got msd ignition on it , clutch , short

shifter, headders ....exhaust ..cold air intake... timing is done ...its got

intrake springs with 17" konig tantrums on it .... the body on the car is in

good condition ... the front bumper , hood and right fender are black the

rest of the car is red ........i also have a turbo setup of a turbo rx7 with

a after market fuel pressure regulator .....turbo ... down pipe ....turbo

manifold ....front mount intercooler of a tsi conquest... blow-off valve ....

boost controller ......turbo and air fuel ratio guages........it has two

infinity speakers with a sony cd face ..the car needs front brakes ....and

could use a paint job but not necessary.... car is quick without turbo ..i

can imaginbe how quick it it with it i would install it but have no time .....

That was directly cut and pasted from an email, sorry for the grammar or whatever. I asked him initially what total miles were on the car and I guess he got caught up in listing the mods and forgot. I will re-ask him that question. What's a realistic price, or even better, since I'm a bastard, what should I try and get it for?

Thanks

So its an n/a with all the n/a parts, but also come with those T2 parts mentioned? Sounds like a good deal.

I'd find out the mileage and of course drive the thing, check for leaks, watch the oil pressure, make sure he spell checks his emails, etc.

You could even sell all the turbo parts if you don't want to convert it.
