What do I have to choose from for engine /fuel / ignition managment on a 20b? I already have a PFC but dont know if will work.

pfc will not work. you need something that will run at least a v6, at most you need 6 injector outputs, and 6 ignition outputs

so that leaves Haltec & TecIII...any others?

j9fd3s 09-24-2003 05:32 PM

motec m800, autronic sm3 (when they release it), wolf has one, mike-ro-tech, and if you had the time and were that bored you could use a gm ecu

do you know which of those have windows based tuning / maps? I plan on installing a compact "auto" PC and it would be nice to have something that will interface with it.

Haltech and Microtech fer sure

j9fd3s 09-24-2003 06:54 PM

motec is still dos, because dos in this case works better

A car PC is cool.

Yea, I've always wanted one and it dosent cost that much...about 20% more than a regular PC

I've been reading a bit about each one and am leaning towards Mocro-tech and Electromotive. I like the setup and having new ignition coils. It would also be nice to run a system that someone here is familiar with.
