What would it take to put a 20B w/ carburators in a FB? Oh, and could you do a dual 4bbl setup?
|
other than time and money?
a lot of custom made parts. |
yep. there are no off the shelf intakes for a 3 rotor, except the stock mazda one
|
What about headers?
|
you're on your own for those too. simplest is to buy 2 rb header kits and put em together
|
12a and 20b is all about custom parts https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683358.gif

Is that a problem?Thats half the fun. Maybe for you. I find it to be all of the fun. Once something runs and drives perfectly, it's boring and I find myself having to change it or get rid of it. Best bet for carburetion would be three Weber 2bbl carburetors. You may go nuts trying to get a Holley to work properly on a necessarily long and narrow intake arrangement, while Webers are proven and you could simply use dual DCOE 13B setups as your baseline as far as sizing and jetting are concerned. It would be cheaper, easier, and better all around to simply use the stock intake manifold arrangement and an aftermarket computer. It doesn't have the wow factor, but you can't drive wow factor. |
Myabe you could try this, it's like an IDA and a half https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png i know some sorta porsches had these, not you can only get custom ones

Why not just go efi? Everything is there & ready to go, plus you will notice a massive difference in economy with efi over a weber.
Also, if you go the card route, what are you going to do with a distributor? Buy a $800 RB unit? By the time you buy carbs, custom manifold and a 3 rotor dizzy you could have bought a micotech fitted & have change |
