Hey guys, i have a 20b in my cosmo which is pretty much standard, but it runs excessively rich. At idle it sits there and choofs out black smoke, which im pretty sure isnt standard. Does anyone have any ideas what this could be, is there a common fault with any components? I have replaced the coolant temp sensor which was open circuit, however i could only source a sensor from a 4ag toyota motor. Could this be the problem?
Thanks guys, Brendan |
could be. the correct part number is NF02-18-840. next step would be to check it for codes, i have the manual, but i'm not 100% clear how to check it without the special tool
