it was in a recent issue of modified mag. they were advertising how to do a 20b swap into an fd. it was histerical. they made it seem like 10 quick steps. i couldn't believe it. and they never even mentioned the price.
just thought i'd share. pretty pics, but that tutorial was utterly useless |
Ten times ten steps is more like it.

Bing Bang Boom... down the road you go.

First of all, it's in print so it MUST be true. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683358.gif Plus, they had pictures. The catch is to buy the kit...it makes it easy for anyone. I'm giving one to my nephew for his 16th birthday...he's really good at building models, so it will be a snap.

https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683664.gif That's what I've been doing wrong....
O.K. I was excited to see the article. I wanted to see all the things I was doing wrong. Needless to say, it's going to be hard not to be sarcastic. The article is best summed up as a very nice advertisement for this fine outfit in Canada who can do this for you. They make it sound so simple. Clearly what you have here is a reputable shop with experience. I am sure they will get some business out of this, and that's great. But, I know a thing or two about people's reactions to magazine articles (on pratically any subject) and what this will lead to is a number of partly done 20B conversions by DIYers that don't understand that it isn't 30 easy picture pane steps. On a good note, RX-7 Specialties (www.rotaryengines.com) probably can hook any of us up with a needed item or two for our projects. |
