Ok, so i've got a post on a couple other rotary forums, so i thought i might as well hook this one up with my current project. I've got an 86 Chevy Camaro, that i am putting a 20b into. So far i've pulled out the old engine, and managed to yank out half the other things in the car along with it. So now i'm in the process of cleaning things up, painting, and getting ready to put the engine back in and get it up and running. Not to mention all of the interior work that i have to do. I'll be taking some more pictures and posting them in the near future. Also, if anyone has the oil cooler lines, and cooler, along with the turbo oil lines up for sale, those are the things i need now. Any questions feel free to ask.

and so an update with some pics. here is what the car kind of looks like right now. the engine is in, and all attached. I'm just waiting to get a new fuel pump to start finalizing the rest of the stuff. This has been one heck of a project. I just wish that i had had all the money i needed to complete the project at once, and none of this piece it together when i get the money for it. Looking good, when you plan on being road ready?

i've still got a lot to do before it's road ready. i have to re-do the interior, along with repaint, and fix all the dents and dings that come with the age of the car. so it's going to be a while till it's ready, but actually being able to drive it should be within the next month or so. I got it running, and if i had a good working fuel pump i would have been driving it around a little bit to see how things shake down and such. until i get a new pump though i'm stuck working on the rest of the car. Not a bad thing i guess. it just means that i've gotta put off the part i wanted finished first till a little later. The engine sounds wonderful though. I can't wait to actually get the thing going down the road.

Well after having the engine running and getting the car moving I now have another issue. Lots of blue smoke, and an oily residue on the exhaust. Mostly around rotor #2. I know it's not a good sign, so I'm going to ask first. Could it be something other than the seals that would cause this? Like for instance a pressurized crank case, or oil leaking in through an omp port or something to that effect. I'm still learning the ins' and outs of the rotary, so any info would be greatly appreciated. Also, the smoke stared after a few days sitting. I don't really want to have to rebuild the motor just yet. I knew I would have to, but I didn't think it would be this soon.

a pressurize crankcase will definately do this.. take the oil fill cap off and drive it for about 10 miles and see if it stops smoking... it'll take that long to get the residual oil out of the exhaust pipe. I had the same problem on mine when i accidentally kinked the catch can line.
