Argh, i just got back from vacation to Oklahoma and when i first get my 7 back, I go and get some gas, it's really wet and slippery and my wipers were working kinda slow, and after about 20 minutes, they slow to a stop. Any help would be appreciated. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub..._DIR#>/dry.png

how exactly do you regrease it mike. thx

the wiper posts are in brass bushings, you need to take the rack off the car and hammer the 2 apart and grease it up

I have to do mine after I thought it was a dead motor.$180 later and still no wipers. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub..._DIR#>/sad.png

i ran into this problem on mine as well... thought it was the motor... motor was perfectly good, it was the rest of the assembly that was binding... ended up leaving it with my grandfather who worked with it (still not sure what he did, i assume he kept working at it with some sort of lube) and i got it back in perfect working order...

and yes, it is a big pain in the rear to get the assembly out... just a word of advice, be careful with your washer delivery tubes, i decitegrated my 'y' piece that splits the tube, so i have to windshield washers now... just been too lazy to tear it apart again and fix that.

Great Topic RacerX!

What about the rear Wiper System?

Since I installed new Rear Hatch Shocks my Rear Wiper no longer works!!!

I plugged in the wires correctly (I Think and I checked the motor w/ 12V source and the motor works fine)?

aNY i DEAS WHERE TO LOOK NEXT???

nOT A BIG DEAL for now since I'm going to have to pull this Motor and start from Scratch. $4000.00US. But as stated before! Gonna drive it till it dies?

******* Oil Seals.

Oh: Well: Something to do with her till that day comes around.

To change the subject:

Since I upgraded my Coils to MSD SS Coils, what Plug wires do suggest to get the best Spark out of Her. Right now have NGK wires on. Not sure if there rated to handle

the higher OHM's???

Good Luck on your next project!!!

i have no clue about the rear wiper, as mine doesn't have one...

as for the plug wires...

i'm currently running a set of magnecor 10mm pure silicone wires... they seem to work great... granted i don't have anything really done to the car, but this is what came on it, and i can't complain....
