That's the ultra-rare Pacific Avatar widebody kit. It's my favorite of all the wide-bodies because of the sleek lines. I have a brand new (not installed) Mariah mode one, and I would trade it for yours in a second.
You REALLY, REALLY should make molds of those good condition parts, and make some spares for yourself, and Lots of money selling replica's. Seriously. |

I agree. The first gen world needs another sleek widebody kit and yours seems to be a good kit to make a mold off of.Plus think of the coin you could make selling these off. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png Thats the best fit widebody kit out there for the SA/FB.Hey DF isn't this that same kit?

http://www.a-rf.co.jp/A-RF/index.html Anyone know what 280,000 yen is in USD? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png That complete kit would be nice to have.Plus I would have the only FB in canada with it.True JDM right down to the JDM blow-off valve. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png |
when i went to japan the rule of thumb i used for exchange rate was, take off the last 2 digits of the price and it would be slightly cheaper than the number youd get.
ie: 280,000 yen would be less that $2800 USD. but im sure theres an online rate converter somewhere... |

Nice snail. Looks good. The Exhaust side is kinda big for my taste (laggy), but nothing a good porting and/or proper manifold design couldn't resolve.

F1Ernie:Could you get a mold of that kit made up?Thats a killer kit to lose.

You know... Now that I did some Seaches.. That Nose piece is DEFINATELY from a Porsche 924 Turbo (931). https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683664.gif
http://images.cardomain.com/member_i...397_8_full.jpg No wonder I couldn't find it. Seems Porshe had it right all the way in 81, Even the stock hood scoop too. I wonder what would look best on my FB, a modifed metal nose piece, or a "race only" fiberglass version?! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683561.gif Now it time to get those parts and have them modified to fit!! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683329.gif |

would that turbo actually hook up to a 12a without super costly, time consuming months in a shop? and how close is that porsche valence to just bolting on to a first gen?
|
I wouldn't even know where to start to make that mold.Once I get everything nice & even I will look into it a little deeper.I put her away in about 2-3 weeks & work on it during the long, cold Canadian winter.
