Oh, excuse my complete moronness for not RTFP. LOL. Let me see if I can find one for you.

Okay the pertinent question would be, is the OMP the same SIZE for the 12a and 13b? If so, 2751 Engineering will have the correct block off plate. If I still had my 12a I could verify this, but alas, it's gone now...2751 Engineering

apparently they only have them for 86+ newer models.

Dysfnctnl85 07-13-2005 08:54 PM

Yeah that's why I was saying if the OMP is the same, those would work just fine, I just can't verify that...

I made my own. Maybe someone can make you one. I don't have any 6 port front covers so I couldn't make one for your engine.

DJ Rotor 07-14-2005 10:53 AM

Yeah they are super simple to make. Cut the gasket first, then use that as a pattern.

I used aluminum. There was some concern that the rotating drive shaft might wear its way into and then through the aluminum some day, but others have made them from aluminum with no worries, so I just went for it. Besides I wasn't sure which direction the shaft normally tends to go when the engine is running (whether inward or out) so I figured if it wants to come in contact with the aluminum, the oil that's always there will lube it enough.

I have both the pumps in my junk box, they are different.

The 13b is a little larger, and slightly different shape.

The plates would not be interchangeable.
